Rolls-Royce 1959 Silver Cloud I Long wheel base sedan
1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Long wheel base sedan
Black with beige leather. The long wheel base cars were custom built by Park Ward and only 10 left hand drive cars were made. It's only 3 inches longer but configured in such a way to give much more leg room in the rear.
Equipped with factory air, power steering, power windows. Complete with all books, tools and records plus there are three pigskin accessories in the rear armrest.
Sold new to the owner of the Denver Post in 1959. The second owner, from Los Angeles, bought it in 1962 and kept until his death in 2005.
We are getting the complete file from the second owner who was a member of the Rolls Royce Owners Club and this car was his pride and joy. The odometer showed around 4,000 miles when he got the car and it now shows 11,000. It's believed the speedometer was replaced at some time between 1959 and 1962. The mileage is not 11k, but not 111,000. The car feels like it has gone around 40,000 miles.
In our opinion, this might be the best original Silver Cloud I long wheelbase in the world.
